Kate Beckinsale is showering her mother Judy Loe with love.
On Sunday, March 30, Beckinsale, 51, shared a series of photos to Instagram of her spending time with Loe, 78. In the photos, posted in honor of Mother's Day in the U.K., the Underworld actress presented her mother with cards, gifts and an amusing pair of bedazzled socks that read, "Mother" on one sock and "f-----" on the other.
"So we had our Mother’s Day yesterday because I am working today. Any journey you are on , I am on it with you , as you have always been with me …. You’ve been mum, dad, second parent to Lily ," Beckinsale wrote in the caption to her post, referencing her daughter Lily Sheen, 25, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen.
Elsewhere in Beckinsale's caption, she referred to her mother as her "partner in crime," as well as a "teacher of how to lose one’s mind if someone rustles their sweets too loudly in the cinema , best friend , keeper of precious things ,including my heart."
"And my god ,we have been through some s--- together . I love you , I admire you, you occasionally drive me mad as I do you , and I’m here for all of it," Beckinsale wrote in the caption. "We may have lost our two boys but we’ve still got each other and I’m hanging on tight . I love you ,mama… Happy Mother’s Day 🤍🤍"

Beckinsale also added photos and videos of her and her mother taking a stroll together by a body of water, as well as a video of Judy enjoying a performance by a musician in the hospital.The actress previously shared in July 2024 that Judy had been diagnosed with cancer. Beckinsale's stepfather Roy Battersby died in January 2024 at 87, and her father Richard Beckinsale died of a heart attack at 31 in 1979.

Beckinsale previously asked fans in a Feb. 25 Instagram post to offer prayers to her mother. “I wasn’t going to come back to Instagram,” she wrote in the caption, “but anyone who has a spare prayer or magic or miracle or sunbeam please send it to my mama, my most extraordinary, warrior, generous, humble, loving, unique, irreplaceable Mama.”

In Beckinsale's Sunday, March 30 post, she also added a message "for my friends (and anyone else)who are grieving today , whether their mum is dead, or lost in dementia, or estranged or somehow absent in a painful way."
"My heart is with you. You know who you are - including the people who send me such kind and painful messages about their losses and sadnesses- lots of love to all of you on a day that is joyful for so many and painful for so many 🤍🤍," she wrote.
